New York
New York City, with limited space, but a lot to offer is a magnet to large numbers of people. As a result, NYC is one of the most affected cities in the world by gentrification. New Yorkers of modest means increasingly to struggle to remain in the city. The photos in this gallery were taken during my fieldwork in 2012.
